My passion for serving others blossomed through my church, where I volunteered at the summer camp in beautiful Lutsen, Minnesota. This experience profoundly shaped me and instilled many of my core values. Thanks to Cathedral of the Pines, I discovered my purpose: to help and support others in meaningful ways.
Recently graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a specialization in Financial Planning-Personal Finance and a certificate in Entrepreneurship, I was able to bridge my passion for service with my love of finance, numbers, and investing. Last summer, interning at another Twin Cities investment advisory firm solidified my career choice. The day-to-day tasks of supporting clients brought me a deep sense of fulfillment.
As a financial planner, authenticity is paramount to me. Honesty and transparency are crucial, especially when navigating sometimes difficult conversations. My approach is to handle these situations with empathy and a thoughtful mind, always keeping our clients’ emotions at the forefront. After all, I believe active listening is the cornerstone of successful client outcomes. These core values – authenticity, empathy, and active listening – may seem simple, but I believe they’re the foundation of building strong client relationships and achieving financial success.
On the personal side:
Hailing from Golden Valley, Minnesota, I cherish spending time with friends and family throughout the Northwest Metro area. Outside of work, my life revolves around sports – perhaps I spend a tad too much time golfing in the summer! A die-hard fan of the Timberwolves, Vikings, and West Ham United, I also find joy in traveling up north and exploring the beauty of Minnesota’s Great Lakes.
