As a young boy, I used to spend hours upon hours writing consecutive numbers in hundreds of notebooks. That, and many other signs, led me from a young age toward a financial career that tied in with being able to help people. My role as Director of Operations and Human Resources for Freedom Financial allows me to pursue those passions. My role consists of handling key areas of the firm including operations, people development and process improvement.
I am a builder at heart and am enthusiastic about helping FFP continue to build out structure and hire talented people as the firm rapidly grows. I am energized by building out career plans for our internal team members and watching them grow in their career. My favorite quote, from the early 20th century, embodies by philosophy on operations. “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit”. I strongly believe that continuing to grow the amazing Freedom Financial culture and firm habits will lead to excellence in the service of clients.
While I am mostly behind the scenes here at Freedom Financial, the highlight of my day is popping out of my office to meet clients when they come in.
On the personal side:
I live in St. Paul with my wife and three four-legged “children” named Max, Annie and Jewel. We enjoy walking around the Mac-Groveland area and exploring the local restaurants. I am perpetually training for the next running marathon and dealing with the disappointment related to my favorite sports team, Arsenal F.C. of the English Premier League.
